Hoenle UVA Print ACM
The cold UV radiation system is specifically designed for temperature-sensitive production processes, offering a reliable solution for applications such as printing mono films or shrink sleeves. Its innovative technology ensures high efficiency while protecting delicate substrates from overheating.
UVAPRINT ACM for ultraviolet radiation for ultraviolet radiation
The system utilizes Advanced Cold Mirror (ACM) technology, which filters out a large portion of the infrared radiation that would otherwise heat the substrate. By integrating a specially coated cold mirror, the ACM system can reduce IR exposure by up to 85% compared to conventional direct-radiating UV systems. Depending on the material, this can lower substrate temperatures by up to 65%, while maintaining the high UV intensity required for fast production speeds. The system can be operated with up to 17 kW of power without additional water cooling, and offers flexible configurations such as individual arc lengths, shutter systems, and air or air/water cooling. Its efficiency not only minimizes the need for additional cooling equipment but also leads to significant cost reductions in manufacturing, making it an ideal choice for highly temperature-sensitive materials.
