UVA Print LE
The UVA Print LE is a high-intensity UV curing system designed for uniform circumferential irradiation of filamentary materials. With its closed elliptical reflector design, it achieves extremely high performance and production speeds of up to 3,000 m/min.
UVA Print LE circumferental UV light system
At the core of the system are two precisely aligned reflectors that form an ellipse: the UV lamp is mounted in the focal point of the first reflector, which generates a focused line of UV light at the focal point of the second reflector. This configuration concentrates the emitted energy at the central axis of a quartz tube, enabling maximum curing intensity and efficiency. Available with arc lengths from 100 mm to 500 mm and power outputs up to 12 kW (240 W/cm), the UVA Print LE can be configured with single or dual lamps, each independently ignited and controlled for maximum production flexibility. Optional inert gas shielding further enhances process performance. The integrated shutter system prevents excessive heating during production interruptions, while the swing-open lamp housing ensures easy maintenance. Typical applications include curing inks and coatings on optical fibers, cables, wires, and plastic threads, making the UVA Print LE a versatile and powerful solution for filament processing.
