UVI-Series Amalgam Lamps

UVI is the exclusive designation for HOENLE standard amalgam UV lamps. Compared to conventional low-pressure lamps, these achieve more than twice the output while maintaining the same UVC efficiency. UVI lamps primarily emit at wavelengths of 254 nm and 185 nm. By selecting different types of quartz glass, the 185 nm line can be selectively blocked or transmitted. UVI amalgam lamps are suitable for all air and water disinfection applications, enabling the construction of very compact systems with high germicidal performance. Optional coatings extend lamp lifetime, ensuring reliable long-term operation. UVI lamps can be used as OEM components or as replacement lamps in existing systems, providing flexibility for both new installations and retrofits.
