UVX is the exclusive designation for HOENLE high-performance amalgam UV lamps with maximized output and extended lifetime. Compared to conventional low-pressure lamps, these lamps achieve nearly three times the power while maintaining the same UVC efficiency. UVX lamps primarily emit at wavelengths of 254 nm and 185 nm. By selecting different quartz glass types, the 185 nm line can be selectively blocked or transmitted. With proper cooling, UVX amalgam lamps are suitable for all air and water disinfection applications. Their compact design allows extremely efficient systems with extended lamp life. Recognized as a pioneer in amalgam lamp technology, these UVX lamps can be used to upgrade existing installations, enhancing germicidal performance, system efficiency, and reliability. Ideal for industrial, laboratory, and environmental applications requiring top-level UVC performance.
