The compact and cost-efficient Pulsed Light-Xenon system is designed for effective packaging disinfection in the food and pharmaceutical industries, featuring a patented, maintenance-friendly lamp system. It achieves very high microbial inactivation rates of up to log 7, with high-energy pulses for reliable sterilization. The mercury-free lamps are housed in a spray-proof stainless steel enclosure (IP65) with quartz filters and include a water-cooled lamp and housing for low substrate temperatures. Dual emitters are controlled electrically and provide instant on/off operation without warm-up time. Advanced features include glass break monitoring at the quartz exit, over 11 million pulse lifespan, storable lamp lengths from 150 mm to 400 mm, stepless pulse adjustment and sensor-controlled intensity.
