High-voltage cables are essential for the safe and reliable operation of UV lamps.
Our standard cables are designed for demanding environments where higher temperatures and UV radiation occur, such as UV modules with reflected UV light. For applications with elevated ozone concentrations, nickel-stranded or nickel-plated copper wires are recommended, offering superior electrical resistance and long-lasting performance.
Single cables such as SSiF, SiCSi, and HK-SO are commonly used between control cabinets and UV modules. Depending on the power supply, both unshielded and shielded cable types are available – with shielded cables required when using electronic power supplies (EPS). Maximum cable lengths between the UV lamp and power supply vary by EPS type and are detailed in the product datasheet.
For advanced applications, multi-core cables are available, allowing easy disconnection of UV modules via high-voltage connectors while integrating control lines. All high-voltage cables for the lamp are fully shielded to ensure safe, reliable and efficient UV system operation.
