Some applications demand higher inactivation rates than standard UVC can deliver – without mercury and without downtime waiting for lamps to warm up.
PulsTec uses a pulsed-light xenon system to achieve microbial inactivation rates of up to log7, using high-energy pulses instead of continuous UV output. Dual emitters switch on and off instantly, so the system is ready exactly when your line needs it, no warm-up phase, no wasted cycles. The mercury-free lamps sit in a spray-proof stainless steel enclosure (IP65) with quartz filters and water-cooled housing, keeping substrate temperatures low even during intensive use.
The patented lamp mounting system is built for easy retrofit into existing machines, with quick lamp replacement and lamp-friendly simmer operation for optimal serviceability. Glass break monitoring at the quartz exit adds an extra layer of process security.
