Hoenle provides high‑resiliency UV masking materials designed for temporary surface protection of orthopedic devices. These masks resist high‑velocity impact from organic media, aluminum oxide, and glass bead blasting. Strong adhesion prevents edge lift, ensuring reliable, repeatable results.

UV-Curable Masks for Consistent Protection

UV masks can be dispensed manually or via automated systems. Once applied, they cure within seconds under UV light, significantly reducing labor time and enabling seamless integration into continuous production workflows.

Masks come in various viscosities suitable for dipping, spraying, or manual syringe application. Optional color additives enhance surface contrast for improved visibility during application and removal.

Tapes and reusable boots are still widely used but often deliver inconsistent protection. Tape edges can fail during aggressive grit blasting, and adhesive residues may require additional cleaning. Boots loosen over time, increasing the risk of rework and scrap.

Hoenle UV masks for orthopedic applications are peel‑removable. A short hot‑water dip or hot‑air exposure improves elasticity for faster peeling. Removal leaves no residue—an essential requirement for medical‑grade components.
