Standard off-the-shelf lamps don’t always match a system’s exact diameter, current, or ozone requirements, especially when a project falls between standard sizes.

UVN is Hoenle’s own designation for standard low-pressure UV lamps, manufacturable with custom diameters and lamp currents. The lamps emit primarily at 254nm and 185nm, with the 185nm line selectively blocked or transmitted through the choice of quartz glass, including versions with partial 185nm sections for controlled ozone generation. Exceptional quartz quality ensures maximum efficiency for both microbial inactivation and ozone production where needed, with optional coatings extending lamp lifetime for long-term reliability.
