Compact system designs often need more germicidal output than a standard low-pressure lamp can deliver in the same footprint, without switching to an entirely different lamp category.

UVI is Hoenle’s exclusive amalgam lamp line, achieving more than double the output of conventional low-pressure lamps while maintaining the same UVC efficiency. Like the UVN-Series, UVI lamps emit primarily at 254nm and 185nm, with the 185nm line selectively controlled through quartz glass selection. This makes UVI suitable for all air and water disinfection applications where a compact system with high germicidal performance is required, with optional coatings extending operational lifetime.
