Preparation and processing rooms often have different hygiene requirements but pallets, containers and packages moving between them can carry contamination from one zone into the other.
The DS1800 acts as a high-care lock: as items pass through, UV-C disinfects their surfaces, preventing unwanted microorganisms from being carried into sensitive processing areas. Because every facility’s room layout and item sizes differ, each DS1800 is built to the customer’s exact dimensions, lamp specification and functionality.
Despite being custom-built, it always ships as a turnkey solution. Ready to operate on delivery, with a waterproof stainless steel housing and switch cabinet built for demanding production environments.
