Gilching (pta024/12.12.2022/15:10) - As already announced on November 2, 2022, the Executive Board of Dr. Hönle AG decided to close the subsidiary Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH, Ilmenau, and to sell all the assets. Fortunately, an agreement has now been reached on the sale of the entire company to a new owner. Business operations therefore can be continued with the existing employees. The sale will take place retrospectively as of December 1, 2022. The purchase price is in the mid-single-digit million range.
By selling the company all financial and legal risks from the redundancy package regulations as well as claims from customers and suppliers from the originally planned closure of the company are eliminated. The cashflow from the purchase price payment will take place in full till December 31, 2022. The sales and earnings targets communicated for the Hönle Group remain unchanged despite the sale of Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH.
